Arsenal Football Club is without doubt the best football team in the world! In 1886 Woolwich Arsenal Armament Factory decided to form a football team and played under the name of Dial Square. Their first match was a 6-0 victory over Eastern Wanderers, on December 11, 1886. The renamed team of Woolwich Arsenal (1891) were voted into the top division following the First World War and have remained their ever since.
